On December 11th, 2019 the “ADRION Thematic Cluster on integrated multimodal sustainable water and land transport” was created. The SUPER-LNG project constitutes one of the main participants in this cluster, which addresses low carbon integrated transport, logistic services, port and hinterland operations and feasibility of related investments. In this cluster are involved five more programmes, namely (a) ADRIPASS, (b) ISTEN, (c) NEWBRAIN, (d) MultiAPPRO, and (e) SUPAIR. Elena Montironi (Central Adriatic Ports Authority, Italy) was set as the coordinator of the Thematic Cluster.

The aims of the clusters generation are as follows:

  • Support the creation of added value for the projects and the Programme by increasing synergies between projects;
  • Help the development of thematic analysis and the identification of new areas/fields of intervention to be funded for the future Programming period;
  • Help increase the promotion of the projects in a more strategic way;
  • Ensure the dissemination and the transferability of project results both beyond the partnership and after the end of the Programme.
